Dave finding that absolutely hilarious and just being tremendously, tremendously relieved that no matter how much of a hopeless dork he is Dirk “held his breath through an entire dave soliloquy bc he didnt want to interrupt and then tried his best to respond intelligently to every inane thing he said no matter how rhetorical it was or impossible an intelligent response is” Strider still has him beat and that’s beautiful

Uh, for an art request ((and more DirkHak >:33)) Could we maybe see Vampire Hal biting Human Dirk? And Maybe Dirk likes it? and while im here… smol headcannon? pure-blooded vampire (a.k.a was never a human at all) Hal with pretty much no regard for human life at all. He cant stand that the one he fell in love with was human, so he turns Dirk into a vampire as well. Perhaps against Dirks will even? Okay Im running out of space to headcanon. dave got all that practice initiating on the meteor and he can pick up on a hint, so when dirk takes less than 10 minutes of conversation to move himself from standing in the doorway to sitting on the corner of dave’s bed it usually means he’s feeling smoochy
